The agricultural sector has a high strategic value because it is a business that produces the basic necessities of a country. In all sub-branches of Agricultural Insurance, within the scope of the Agricultural Insurance Law No.5363 with the date of 14.06.2005, services are provided through State Supported Agricultural Insurance through TARSİM, and in accordance with the legislation, coverage is provided from abroad for the agricultural risks staying outside the State Supported System.

State Supported Agricultural Insurance is the agricultural insurance that can be used by producers registered in the Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. 50% government support provides assurance against damages and losses caused by disasters, diseases and accidents in herbal products, greenhouses, poultry, cattle and ovine animals or aquaculture products.

With “Hail Insurance”, it compensates for the amount of losses (low yield) directly caused by hail hitting in products grown in open areas such as vineyards, gardens and fields and greenhouses.

Optionally if you wish; additional guarantees can be provided against the loss of quality and risk of frost in fruits and vegetables.
While Herbal Product Insurances provide coverage for your crops grown in open areas such as vineyards, gardens and fields for risks such as hail, frost, storm, hose, fire, landslide, loss of quality due to earthquake, flood and submersion;
Greenhouse Insurances secures your greenhouse building materials, technical equipment and your products grown in greenhouses against risks such as hail, storm, tornado, fire, landslide, earthquake, vehicle crash and storm, flood and submersion, and Snow and Hail Weight.

On the other hand, Cattle Insurances (feeder and dairy cattle) secure your cattle against risks caused by all kinds of animal diseases and pregnancy, birth or surgical intervention, diseases which must be obligatorily reported according to No.5996 Veterinary Services, Plant Health, Food and Feed Law; and against risks such as anthrax, blue tongue disease, rift valley fever, contagious bovine pleuropneumonia, enzootic bovine leukosis, deer epizootic hemorrhagic disease (EHD), contagious stomatitis (Vesicular Stomatitis) diseases, All kinds of accidents, wild animal attack, snake and insect bites, poisonous meadow grasses and food-related poisoning, all kinds of natural disasters and sunstroke, deaths due to fire or explosion, forced slaughter, abortion or infant death.

Ovine Insurances (feeder and dairy cattle) secure your ovine animals against risks caused by all kinds of animal diseases and pregnancy, birth or surgical intervention, diseases which must be obligatorily reported according to No.5996 Veterinary Services, Plant Health, Food and Feed Law; and against risks such as anthrax, blue tongue disease, sheep and goat plague (PPR), sheep, goat pox, epizootic hemorrhagic disease of deer (EHD), rift valley fever, All kinds of accidents, wild animal attack, snake and insect bites, Poisonous meadow grasses and feed-related Poisoning, All kinds of natural disasters and sunstroke, deaths due to fire or explosion, and forced slaughter, and Material damages directly incurred by the insured as a result of the offspring that occur during any period of the pregnancy and determined by the Agricultural Insurance Pool (TARSIM) expert are covered by the insurance within the framework of the Tariff and Instructions.

Apart from contagious diseases which must be obligatorily reported according to No.5996 Veterinary Services, Plant Health, Food and Feed Law, Poultry Insurances cover the damages directly incurred by the insured due to all kinds of poultry diseases (Poultry raised in open and semi-open system can only be insured within the scope of the Narrow-Scoped Tariff, all diseases are not covered under the Narrow Coverage Tariff.), all kinds of accidents and poisonings, all kinds of natural disasters, deaths caused by fire or explosion, culling and compulsory slaughter.

Aquaculture Insurance guarantees your aquaculture products against contamination and poisoning that occur beyond the control of your breeder, any natural disasters, accidents, predators, deaths due to algae blooms and material damage you suffer directly as a result of physical losses.
Beekeeping (Beehive) Insurance covers the damages that occur as a result of storm, tornado, fire, landslide, earthquake, vehicle crash, flood and submersion, wild animal attack, and crash, collision, overturning and burning during the transportation of hives (Only valid for Migratory Beekeeping.).

District Based Drought Yield Insurance covers the yield loss caused by risks due to drought, frost, hot wind, heat wave, excessive humidity and excessive rainfall occurred in the district and risks which are out of hail package (Hail, storm, tornado, fire, landslide, flood and submersion, earthquake) occurring in wheat, barley, rye, oat, triticale, chickpea, red lentil and green lentil products and certified seed products of these products produced in the insured dry farming areas registered with the Farmer Registration System (ÇKS).
