Levent NART was born in 1957 in Izmir. He graduated from Izmir Atatürk High School, Ege University in 1978, and the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Cologne in 1983.

On January 1, 1984, Levent NART began his career at the General Directorate of Nordstern Colonia Konzern Companies in Cologne. He worked in the “Nordstern Service International” department, where he provided International Risk Management Consulting to multinational companies, specializing particularly in Business Interruption, Product Liability, and Professional Liability.

Starting in 1987, NART was appointed as the Chairman of the Board and General Manager of Turkey Nordstern Sigorta A.Ş. In 1994, he was also appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Imtaş Sigorta and Imtaş Hayat, the companies of France’s largest insurance group, UAP, completing the first major merger in Turkey’s insurance sector, known as the Nordstern-Imtaş merger, as the Country Head.

In 1997, within the AXA Oyak Holding, Levent NART played a key role in the merger of Nordstern Imtaş and Oyak Sigorta companies and was involved in the establishment of Turkey’s largest insurance holding as the General Manager of Life Companies.

In 1999, Levent NART, along with his partners, founded NART Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş., an international company operating in 130 countries, providing Risk Management Consulting services to Turkish and multinational companies. NART quickly became Turkey’s largest independent broker.

Levent NART has served as a Founding Board Member of the German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers Association, and held management and audit board memberships in TÜSİAD and TUGİAD.

Levent NART is married and has two children. He speaks Turkish, German, English, and French.
