Treatment expenses that exceed the wage limits not covered by the Social Security Institution are covered by the Complementary Health Insurance.
Services Covered by Complementary Health Insurance
Complementary health insurance allows you to go to the examination 8/10 times a year (which may vary according to the insurance company), and then you can benefit from analysis and laboratory services without paying a contribution.
In inpatient treatments, the health services that you can receive in the hospital such as surgery, room-food, companion, drug treatment, intensive care and doctor follow-up are also covered by the policy.
